Working Bibliography on Deacons and the Diaconate

This page is for the use of several of us who are interested in the diaconate and in formation of people to become deacons.  (There is no obvious connection with the Gospel According to Mark.)

    1. Alistair, I haven’t done much with this blog, but any items of bibliography on deacons and the diaconate would be welcome. Would these have mostly to do with deacons in ancient Christian liturgy?

  1. Frank:
Absolutely it’s about Christian origins… is there any other period of significance??? This is obviously very partial, and is simply lifted from my Original bishops. However, it’s a start. Items that don’t at first sight seem to concern deacons have significant consideration of the relevant texts and material.
